No pain, no gain.Do you ever have that sense that things could be done better? Most businesses still operate in a “silo” structure with processes that run across them, both holding them together but also creating friction between them. Process Improvement often requires someone independent to come in and review each aspect of a business process, reviewing the totality of the process but also the individual elements, what is critical and non-critical, why things work as they do and which bits don’t work. The art is then to create a new process that brings benefits across the length of the process for all parties while delivering a total benefit too. Change ideas can come from team members but also critically from broad perspective and experience of an independent advisor. Easy? Not really but worth the challenge.
